David Veldran
- Graduate Student
Before coming to Pitt in the fall of 2024, I received a bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
My main philosophical interests lie in moral philosophy, especially in normative ethics and metaethics. I am especially drawn to topics such as welfare, fairness, consequentialism, constructivism, and moral disagreement. I have secondary interests in political philosophy and philosophy of mind.
Outside of philosophy, I am interested in history, politics, sports, and music. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
