My topics of interest include philosophy of physics, philosophy of science, epistemology, and logic. I like thinking about what we can reasonably infer about physical reality from mathematical theories and scientific models. Within philosophy of physics, I’m particularly interested in different interpretations of quantum mechanics and models in statistical mechanics. In general philosophy of science, I’m keen to explore structural and effective realism. I also enjoy modal logic and differential equations.
Before joining Pitt, I studied physics, mathematics, and philosophy at the University of Toronto.
When I’m not doing philosophy, I can be found reading, cooking, or having tea with friends.
