Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh in 2016, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from McGill University. My main interests lie in the history of philosophy, especially German Idealism and Ancient philosophy (primarily Kant and Aristotle, respectively), moral psychology, metaethics, and the intersection of all three topics. Lately I’ve been particularly focused on Aristotle’s account of desire in De Anima III. Outside of philosophy I enjoy playing classical guitar, yelling angrily about hockey, and reading or watching good science fiction.
