I completed degrees in philosophy and biological sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2022 and joined the department at Pittsburgh thereafter. My historical interests are mainly the theoretical and practical philosophy of Aristotle and Kant, but also the work of various other figures in Medieval Arabic philosophy and Post-Kantian German philosophy.

My topical interests include the nature of our rational capacities for thought and action. I am also interested in the role of concepts and language in these capacities, and therefore how our social nature figures in our form of life. I find that these topics are best understood through the work of the philosophers above.

When I am not doing philosophy, I like to read, cook, and run. My favorite novels are Anna Karenina and Hyperion.
