My research interests lie predominantly in questions about reasons and rationality in epistemology, decision theory, and ethics. In particular, my dissertation develops an account of rational reasoning that is sensitive to certain cognitive limitations, like our inability to reason with all of our attitudes at once, and our inability to always recognize the logical relationships between our attitudes.

Before coming to Pitt, I obtained a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh.
