Alnica Visser

  • Graduate Student
Alnica is interested in non-ideal philosophies of language and non-classical theories of conceptual content. She is particularly interested in how concepts are negotiated and adjusted in the course of their deployment and development across different movements and domains.
In a previous life she worked on various historical figures in the German tradition and in political theory, especially as it relates to liberation movements.
Alnica is also a member of the Graduate Student Organizing Committee, working to unionize the graduate workers at Pitt.
