I joined the department in 2021 and my background is in Theoretical Physics and Philosophy. Before coming to Pitt, I was at the University of Oxford where I did an integrated masters in Physics and Philosophy.
My interests lie especially in the Philosophy of Physics and in Metaphysics. I'm particularly intrigued by questions regarding laws of nature, the ontology underlying our best physical theories, and the interface between the metaphysics of identity and the nature of time in relativistic spacetimes. Furthermore, I have a general interest in the study of language and mathematics and in Philosophy of Science, as a whole.
