Sofia Berinstein is a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. Before this she was an artist and completed degrees at Brandeis University, M.I.T. and The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Her primary focus is on perception, as it picks up questions of epistemology and metaphysics and concerns phenomenology and value. Her current work in on the perceptual basis of normative judgment and standards of epistemic evaluation for experience, such as truth-conditionality.
