Sebastian Evans

Hi, I’m Sebastian! I received my BA from Wesleyan University in 2023 with a double major in the College of Letters and Spanish, and joined the Pitt philosophy department in the fall of 2023. My primary philosophical interests are in ancient ethics and epistemology, especially through the Philosophy as a Way of Life tradition, and I recently finished a project looking at the role of fate to the Stoics’ pursuit of happiness.

Outside of philosophy, I enjoy playing tennis and creative writing (mainly poetry and nonfiction).
