I got my BA and MA in Philosophy from the State University of Milan (Italy) and the University of Barcelona (Spain) between 2011 and 2013.
My main interest is in the philosophy of mind and perception, at the intersection with psychology and cognitive science. Currently, I mainly focus on issues regarding the phenomenology of perceptual experience, perceptual presence, and objectivity. I also have side projects regarding the perception of sounds, multisensory integration, and musical experience.
My work is inspired by J.J. Gibson’s ecological psychology, Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenology of perception, Gestalt psychology, Enactivism, and Embodied cognitive science.
In my “regular” life, I love skiing, singing, being outdoors, and watching all kinds of sport on tv.
