Kathryn entered the department in 2005 and has since carefully cultivated an interest in not elaborating on her interests. Despite making a veritable full time job of being difficult, she manages to squeeze in some philosophy. Recently she has been trying to understand the source and nature of obligations and requirements. She appreciates this task because it allows her to spread her time between ethics, epistemology, theory of rationality, theory of action, and one understanding of philosophy of mind. Kathryn is teaching Introduction to Philosophical Problems this Fall. In addition to being bad at writing blurbs, she also manages to be mediocre at many domestic chores and quite excellent at parallel parking.
